The Comedy Carnival at The Grand features an outstanding line-up of award-winning comedians every Saturday night. The shows include the very best comedians working in Britain, from as far as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, and the USA.

London’s world famous comedy scene attracts the best international comedy talent, with the Comedy Carnival presenting some of the finest on offer. Acts who have performed at the club include Russell Brand, Simon Amstell, Flight of the Conchords, Adam Hills, Ed Byrne, Reginald D Hunter, Michael McIntyre and Andrew Maxwell just to name a few!

The Comedy Carnival is hosted at The Grand, London’s premier club. Spread over three floors, it features Europe’s largest flashing dance floor, six royal boxes and is open until 3am.

If you're looking for a complete night out, the Comedy Carnival Party Packages include reserved seating at the comedy show featuring 4 brilliant comedians, drinks, nightclub entry and the option of fantastic food.

Doors open 7.00pm. Show begins 8.00pm.

You must be over 18 years of age to attend this event. Any person unable to present valid picture identification indicating they are 18 or over will not be admitted to this event and will not receive a refund.

By Rail
BRITISH RAIL CLAPHAM JUNCTION – Clapham Grand is on the opposite side of St John’s Hill when you exit Clapham Junction by the St John’s Hill entrance/exit. Turn right out of station – cross road – venue is 70 yards up the road

By Tubel
There are no tubes within approx 2 miles of the venue – the closest tubes are Clapham Common & Clapham South on the Northern Line

By Bus
Buses to Clapham Junction are frequent – most drop/pick up on St John’s Hill outside the venue or just round the corner on St John’s Road

Night buses – N31 Clapham Junction – Camden, N19 Clapham Junction – Finsbury Park, N35 Clapham Junction – Tottenham Court Road, N87 Aldwych – Kingston. Routes 37, 344, & 345 are 24 hour services.

Parking
There is little parking in the Clapham Junction area – there is pay parking in the Asda Superstore car park & the Lidl & Boots car parks – all serviced from Falcon Lane which runs between Falcon Road & Lavender Hill

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY TO THE VENUE

1) Entry is subject to the terms & conditions of the venue, event organizer & promoter, defined henceforth as ‘the management’
2) The management reserves the right to refuse admission.
3) Entry to the venue is limited to those 18 years of age or older. The management reserve the right to request picture identification indicating proof of age. Any person unable to provide ID or under the age of 18 will be refused entry will not be eligible for a refund.
4) The Clapham Grand is open until 0300hrs. Patrons attending the Comedy Carnival show in the Clapham Grand are advised that show runs until 2200hrs and are advised to be in the Clapham Grand this time. Patrons arriving after the above times may not automatically be permitted entry & will not eligible for a refund.
5) Entry is to the named booking confirmation e-voucher/Seatem voucher holder & their bona-fide guests
6) E- vouchers/Seatem vouchers are non-refundable or transferable.
7) Current Licensing Laws are strictly enforced.
8) Persons attending the event may be subject to search.
9) No bottles, cans, alcohol or food (including bottled water) are to be brought into the venue.
10) The venue is legally obliged to operate a strict NO SMOKING policy
11) No illegal substances may be brought into, or taken on, the premises. Any one caught in possession of such substances will be ejected from the premises and may be reported to the Police.
12) Any persons found in possession of weapons of any description may be refused entry and / or the items seized will be logged and handed over to the Police. Personal items deemed to be a potential risk may be confiscated until after the event.
13) There are no re-admissions & this policy is strictly enforced.
14) Those attending the event may be subject to continuous sound levels, which may cause potential damage to hearing.
15) Those attending the event may be exposed to strobe lights.
16) Those attending the event consent to any filming and sound recordings as members of the audience.
17) No professional type cameras, audio / visual, or digital recording equipment will be allowed into the venue. Please note that the admission of cameras of any kind is subject to alteration in accordance with the wishes of the management.
18). No entry fees will be refunded following ejection from, or refused entry to, the venue on account of, but not limited to account of late arrival, declining to be searched, abusive, threatening, drunken or other antisocial behaviour, carrying of weapons or illegal substances, or making unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings
19) The management reserve the right to alter the line up of an event. Should the event be cancelled or postponed all reasonable endeavours will be taken by the management to notify those who have booked to attend the event.
20) The management accepts no responsibility for any personal property on its premises
21) Please respect our neighbours and make as little noise as possible on leaving the venue.
