Pavel Škrna - tenor saxophone
Roman Fojtíček - alto saxophone
Jiří Hanzlík - baritone saxophone

The BOHEMIA SAXOPHONE QUARTET was established in Prague in 1990, and that same year it began to be featured on the Czech music scene. The quartet has its permanent members playing the soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones. At their concerts they interpret the work of Czech and world composers of saxophone music (particularly French), jazz compositions or compositions influenced by jazz, as well as transcriptions of period music.

The BOHEMIA SAXOPHONE QUARTET not only offers a varied repertoire, but above all, a cultivated performance marked by varied expression, virtuosity, and mature musical feeling. It is at home not only in traditional concerts halls, but also in churches and other "non-traditional venues".

The Klementinum was founded in 1232, but it was not until the Jesuits began to build a Catholic seat of learning in the 16th and 17th centuries that the buildings began to take shape. In 1773, the buildings were handed over to the university authorities. Today, the complex houses the Chapel of Mirrors - built in 1724 and reconstructed in 1997 - which is primarily used for classical concerts, and the Music Library. It is located just by Charles Bridge on the Old Town side.
