Our quartet consists of players, who can play all four types of saxophone.Their motivation is not only interest in the saxophone, but also adesire to play chamber music in both classical and jazz styles. The ensemble was founded by Roman Fojtíček in 2003.

Roman Fojtíček’s background includes working with the saxophone in a number of differentmedia including saxophone with piano and organ as well as symphonicrepertoire.
Radim Kvasnica is the youngest member of the Group. Heis a graduate from of the Czech Technical University. Since 1995 he hasplayed extensively and gained experience with many of the finestorchestras in Prague.
Otakar Martinovský participated for many yearsin many leading Prague jazz and dance bands. (e.g. DixielandMessengers, Traditional Jazz Studio, Orchestr Václava Hybše…)
ZdenkoKašpar studied and then worked as a teacher training many youngsaxophonists who became members of the the Saxophone Orchestra whichwas founded and is still directed by him.

The Klementinum was founded in 1232, but it was not until the Jesuits began to build a Catholic seat of learning in the 16th and 17th centuries that the buildings began to take shape. In 1773, the buildings were handed over to the university authorities. Today, the complex houses the Chapel of Mirrors - built in 1724 and reconstructed in 1997 - which is primarily used for classical concerts, and the Music Library. It is located just by Charles Bridge on the Old Town side.
