Douro is a region of contrast and exuberant nature. Since ancient times the Douro River has wound itself throughout the country. From hills to the river banks, from vineyards to the sloping hills of the Douro River, this region continues to be an influential aspect of the country both economically and historically.

Visit the “cradle” of where Porto wine is made. Amarante, Lamego and Pinhão are known as the gold triangle of Porto wine.

    Please note that this tour will not operate on 1st January and 25th December.

    Running Time: 10 hours 30 minutes

    Approximate Tour Schedule:
  • 9:00 - Hotel pick up
  • 10:10 - Arrival at Amarante where we will visit the Convent, the Church Saint Gonçalo, the Roman Bridge and the Historical Centre
  • 12:00 - Arrival at Lamego where we will visit the Historical Centre and Remédios Sanctuary
  • 13:00 - Enjoy lunch with a panoramic view. also see the Bagaúste Dam
  • 15:00 - Visit a farm and enjoy wine tasting
  • 17:00 - Arrive at Pinhão for a visit.
  • 18:00 - Departure to Oporto
  • 19:30 - Expected Arrival at Oporto

    • Children under 5 are free of charge.

    Lunch is included in the price of this tour.
