Passing the Castle Hellbrunn, and across the Austrian-Bavarian border, the tour travels through the Königseeache valley, through the Bavarian mountains, past farmhouses and the ruins of the Obersalzberg (Hitler's former mountain retreat) before arriving at the highlight of the tour, the 500-year-old salt mines.
Enter the mines and hear the historical and legendary tales of this fascinating underground world. Descending the same 100-foot-long slide as thousands of miners before, enter the grottos and experience a magical subterranean world. The adventure ends with a raft ride on the underground salt lake followed by a miniature train ride.
