After such a fantastic show in 2007, we are pleased to confirm that the BBC Good Food Show Scotland will be back for even more foodie fun this autumn from the 31st October – 2nd November 2008 at The SECC, Glasgow.

Tickets are on sale now, so make sure you book early, put the dates in your diary and get set for a day jam packed with food glorious food, drinks galore and top entertainment from your favourite celebrity chefs.

The exquisite range and distinctive flavour of Scotland’s home-produced food guarantees unbeatable tasting experiences, whether it’s succulent salmon from the crystal clear rivers, gamey grouse or venison from the wild moors or a hot toddy of warming whisky to chase away the winter chills.

Celebrity chefs including Gordon Ramsay and James Martin will be making the most of regional specialities in their live cookery demonstrations.  Plus there will be plenty of opportunities for tasting and shopping, with hundreds of local producers tempting you with their finest ingredients and culinary gadgets.

But most of all, it’s wonderful day out for all the family - and a chance to pick up some early Christmas presents and treat yourself to a host of gourmet goodies!

These tickets are for general admission to the show only.

All tickets include a FREE SHOW GUIDE worth £10 collectable on the day (no cash alternative available).

Children under 5 are FREE of charge but do need a ticket to get into the show. Children (6+) pay full adult price + booking fee Friday. Children (6-12) pay £7 + booking fee Saturday and Sunday.

All priced tickets are subject to an additional £1.50 booking fee per ticket.


Travel

By Road: SECC is just off Junction 19 of the M8 motorway.

Parking: On-site parking is available for 3,000 vehicles at £3.50 per day.

Nearest Rail: Glasgow's Central Station is connected with every city in the UK, while Queen Street Station serves central and northern Scotland.
Once you're in Glasgow, your journey right to the SECC front door can be completed by train. Exhibition Centre station is SECC's own dedicated railway station allowing easy access from the city centre and the suburbs. Six trains an hour from Central Station (Platform 15) will bring you to the venue in under 10 minutes.

Coach: All UK coach operators run services to Glasgow's Buchanan Bus Station from throughout the UK.

Taxi: There are taxi ranks throughout the city. Main pick-up points include Buchanan Bus Station, Queen Street and Central Stations and most large hotels.
An average journey from the city centre will cost around £4.00.

Air: Glasgow's international Airport is less than 15 minutes drive by direct motorway link from the city centre.

General Rules

No video cameras or recording devices allowed.
No smoking anywhere in the SECC.
