USP Jazz Lounge is no dingy basement though. Entrance is via the lobby area of the U Star Pani hotel. Descend the stairway, lit by small votive candles on both sides, and you enter a brightly decorated, renovated room, positively oozing with ambiance.

Some of Prague's best local jazz acts are in residence here. However, the club is popular and can fill quickly, so arrive early to secure the best seats. In fact, chances are you'll end up sharing a table.
