An ultra modern 29 metre catamaran lets you explore the outer edge reef locations at Agincourt ribbon reef in superb style and comfort.

Cruising on the fastest vessel to the reef, you'll enjoy over 5 hours exploring the delights of this underwater world. Silversonic's ride control system ensures your trip is super smooth, even when travelling at speeds of up to 32 knots.

At Agincourt ribbon reef, you'll have access to exclusive dive and snorkel sites, Visiting 3 different sites so you can choose 3 certified dives, 2 introductory dives, or 3 different adventure snorkel locations.

With numerous reef locations available, each site offers a new experience, selected for its unique variety of marine life and corals. In between water activities, relax on the expansive sundecks overlooking the Coral Sea.

Your crew will ensure you have all you need to make the most of your day on board, which includes full bar facilities, a hot and cold tropical buffet lunch, fresh water showers, morning and afternoon tea.

ITINERARY:


08.15 am:
On boarding enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and a foccacia bread. For your safety, hot drinks are not served once the vessel is underway. Passengers are required to be onboard the vessel 15 minutes before departure.

08.30 am:
Depart Marina Mirage for the trip to the Outer Barrier Reef. On the way, detailed certified and introductory dive briefings are given

10.00 am:
Arrive at the first site. Divers gear up, while snorkellers listen to a site briefing by the snorkelling advisor. Get ready to view the beauty of this natural wonder!

11.30 am:
Move to second site... After the initial water activities, enjoy a tropical hot and cold lunch [included in the fare] served in the air conditioned cabin. The lunch includes fresh prawns, pasta, meats, salads and fruit. There are bar facilities available where you can purchase drinks.

11.40 am:
Certified divers go for their second dive.

01.15 pm:
Silversonic moves to the third location on Agincourt Reef system. Option for introductory divers to do second dive and certified divers to do their third. Snorkellers are once again briefed as to the best areas to snorkel.

02.15 pm:
Afternoon tea is served.

03.00 pm:
Depart Agincourt Reef for Port Douglas. Reef video viewing on board.

04.30 pm:
Arrival at Marina Mirage, Port Douglas.

Please present voucher at our reservations office in the Marina Mirage Port Douglas in exchange for a boarding pass. Please phone our reservations department at least 2 days prior to reconfirm on 07 4087 2100 / $5 (per person) Environmental Management Charge to be paid direct on the day of travel.

We started in 1979 with one vessel, a catamaran, which took guests to the Low Isles. This was the first ever commercial trip to these idyllic coral cays, and visitors coming to the small fishing village of Port Douglas for their annual holidays were quick to embrace the concept.

The Quicksilver staff, in their distinctive sarongs, soon encapsulated the carefree yet organised approach that has come to define the operation. Today, we travel further - right to the ribbon reefs at the outer edge of the Continental Shelf. This region is known as the Outer Barrier Reef, and it's one of the very best locations to experience the full majesty and elemental force of this unique natural wonder.
