Farnborough International Airshow will once again grace the skies of the Hampshire/Surrey borders in 2008 for its
60th anniversary with some of the most exhilarating air displays that any airshow has ever seen.
FIA 2008 will take place from
14-20 July 2008 and will prove as spectacular as ever. Providing an abundance of activities for young and old including a 4 ½ hour flying display, static display, 5 exhibition halls displaying the most up to date aerospace technology, seminars and interactive exhibits and a feast of outdoor rides and entertainment to satisfy any age group.

GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS
Valid for admission on a single public day, Saturday 19 or Sunday 20 July 2008
These tickets are for public general admission to the Farnborough International Airshow 2008.
Grandstand upgrades have now sold-out.
• Tickets are valid for entry on either of the two public days
• Children under 16 are admitted free if accompanied by a ticket holding adult
The public days at Farnborough Airshow are always full of exciting things to do, with plenty to appeal to all visitors from the most ardent aviation enthusiast to families and children. Examples of public activities include:
• Industrial Revelations from the Discovery Channel
• Robots fighting in the Extreme Fighting Machines arena with the Stars of Robot Wars
• Visiting the iconic aircraft on display
• Visiting the International Space Pavilion where free seminars are often held
RAF and Army Recruitment stands
• Army Air Corps Blue Eagles stand
• Signings at the Aviation Bookshop
And there are 5 halls of exhibitors to visit as well! With the airshow celebrating the 100th anniversary of the first sustained flight from Farnborough in 1908 and the 60th anniversary of the show, there will be plenty of themed celebratory events and activities for you to enjoy and take part in.

Nearest Rail: Farnborough Main Station (for shuttle bus)
By Car: The Aerodrome is located approximately 30 miles (48km) from Central London and is accessible from the M3, M25 and A23 via junction 8 of the M25. Car Parking will be available either on or adjacent to the site.
