Tickets to a classical music concert at Prague's Smetanova síň Obecního domu (Municipal House, Smetana Hall), featuring Prague Symphony Orchestra.
Conductor: CHARLES OLIVIERI-MUNROE
Soloists: LOUISE HUDSON (soprano), KAISA RANTA (soprano), DUBRAVKA MUSOVIĆ (mezzo-soprano), STANISLAV MATIS (tenor)
This is the first series of gala concerts where you will hear young singers who have already garnered success on international concert platforms and opera stages, many of them being engaged by renowned opera houses. They will perform in the Czech Republic thanks to prof. Eva Blahová, whose excellent master classes are attended by young singers from all over the world.
The Municipal House itself is one of the most interesting buildings in the Czech Republic. Designed in 1904 and built in 1912, it became a centre of culture and fine arts in Prague. It has one of the best concert halls in the city, Smetanov's Hall, and also contains a few beautiful smaller halls. There is also a gallery for art and exhibitions in the Municipal House, a restaurant with excellent cousine, a "kavarna" - one of the best and nicest coffee shops in town and a pub, designed and maintained in the traditions of the old Czech style with, of course, Czech beer.
