Our first call is the haunting District Six Museum, named for the sixth municipal district of Cape Town. Next the tour heads to Langa, the oldest existing formal township in the Western Cape. We will also visit Gugulethu township, and Khayelitsha, the largest informal settlement (shacks) where we will go to a “shebeen” (pub) to meet and interact with the local community. Tour Info
