We will depart from the bus terminal at Piazza Esquilino and continue on to Republic Square. Here enjoy the Fountain of the Nymphs, a work of Mario Rutelli. Then we will see Via Veneto and the Spanish Steps. The Spanish Steps is the most famous square in Rome with 138 steps and the Fountain of the Barcaccia by Bernini.
We will visit Trevi Fountain (by Nicola Salvi) and the Pantheon. The Pantheon is a real architectonical wonder of the Ancient Rome and was also admired and studied by Michelangelo. Today it is the burial place of Raffaello and a few Italian Kings.
We will visit Navona Square, a traditional baroque square that was once a stadium built by Caesar Domiziano in 92 A.C. Today it is known as the square of artists. View the "Four Rivers Fountainâ" (work of Bernini in 17th century) here that dominates the square (it also supports an original Egyptian obelisk.
