Your tour begins by coach, passing through Piazza della Republica with its Fountain of the Naiads and its Bath of Diocletian.
Continue by coach to the Holy Staircase, the Lateran Palace, the Basilica of San Giovanni, and the Cathedral of Rome (visit inside).
Next, we will take a walk along the Old Appian Way up to the Tomb of Cecila Metella. Along the way we will pass by the Chapel of Domine Quo Vadis before stopping at the Catacombs, the ancient underground cemeteries and first hiding places for persecuted Christians. The tour ends with a spectacular view of the Pyramid of Caius Cestius.
We will also drive along the Thermes of Carcalla.
On Sundays and Bank Holidays, we will visit St. Mary Major instead of Old Appian Way.
NOTE: Visitors in shorts or sleeveless tops are not admitted to churches or Vatican Museums.
