Gray Line Salvador/Bahia
Salvador
Brazil
Sat, 6th December 2008 - Tue, 30th December 2008

Mangue Seco is 220 km from Salvador in the extreme north of Bahia. It is the edge of a peninsula between the sea and a river among mangroves (hence its name Mangue Seco). No roads lead to this place. Coming from Salvador we cross the Real River which separates the two states in traditionally covered canoes.
On the other side of the river you will board a buggy car for a crazy 40 minute ride through the sand dunes. We will make stops for photographs and the ride will finish at the top ranked beach in Bahia beach for swimming. We will stop at a beach restaurant with food and drinks (not included), showers and hammocks to take a nap.
The top beach in Bahia! At 3 pm we will leave the beach and head to the village to visit Tieta´s House (famous character of a Jorge Amado´s novel). There we will enjoy ice-cream. There is also an optional tour returning to Salvador at 4 pm.
Optional: Buggy car ride to hang out around the beach.
