This full day tour is a must for first time visitors or those who want to enjoy everything that Vallarta has to offer. Your knowledgeable guide will teach you about the history and culture of this city as you travel around the most popular sights and hidden back streets of town.
See the local village el Pitillal, stroll along the boardwalk, visit the church, stop in the flea market and afterwards enjoy lunch. Try the local tequila in the presentation outlet. Finish your day with photo opportunities at Mismaloya and the surrounding areas.
The tour begins at the tourist complex of Marina Vallarta including: its residential zone, the Golf Course and Yacht Club. Next, we’ll take a quick walk for pictures and sightseeing. We’ll visit the downtown area and drive through the Pitillal district towards the border walk “El Malecón.” Sea Horse statue is our next stop. Here take a brief informational walk while you learn about the monuments in the area, the symbols and important buildings such as: the Municipal Palace and the city´s main church.
You’ll also receive information about the city stores (including the most popular, the fanciest and the most exclusive). The flee market will also be a shopping option.
South of the bay, we’ll travel through the residential zone (Costa de Oro & Conchas Chinas, Mirador de los Arcos) taking brief stops for pictures. Once in Mismaloya, admire the beautiful cove and part of the set of john Houston´s “Night of the Iguana” (first movie filmed here in Puerto Vallarta).
A stop will be made at a tequila factory to learn the process and elaboration of tequila & raicilla. Of course, a splendid invitation to taste one or all of these house liquors will be extended to you.
