Bloom 2008 will be held in the Phoenix Park from Thrusday 29th until Monday June 2nd. Preparations for an even bigger and more impressive Bloom 2008 are well under way...
The Bloom Experience
Stunning Show Gardens, magnificent floral displays, interactive gardens, farmers market, indoor entertainment, fabulous food pavilion, family fun zone - the ultimate outdoor exravaganza - this is bloom.
Bloom 2007 was all set to become the national gardening and horticultural event of the year and judging by the vast amount of people that turned up in their droves, it did not disappoint.
Bloom 2007 attracted just over 50,000 visitors throughout the June Bank Holiday weekend and represented a wonderful dosplay of engaging features appealing to everyone. We intended to deliver an event which would capture the essence of garden life and encourage people to become interested in tehir natural surroundings. What Bloom achieved last June was just that and even more, providing visitors with an unforgettable day out.

Getting There
In the Phoenix Park, follow the signpost to the Visitors Centre
Buses: Bus No. 37, 38 (from Lr. Abbey Street), 39 (from Middle Abbey Street) to the Ashtown Gate walk approx. 190 metres to the T-junction and turn left, walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the building on your left, the pathway on the right-hand side leads you towards the trees and the back gate of Ashtown Castle.
Bus no. 10 (from O'Connell Street) to NCR Gate (30 minute walk from Gate).
The LUAS Red Line (operating from Tallaght and Connolly Station) can also be used. The nearest stop to the Phoenix Park is Heuston Station. It is approximately a 20-minute walk from LUAS at Heuston Station to Phoenix Park Visitors Centre. The LUAS Red and Green Lines do not connect. However, if traveling on the LUAS Red Line, there is a 15-minute walk between St. Stephens Green (Green Line) and Abbey Street (Red Line). Tickets bought for a journey starting on one line and finishing on the other are valid for the whole journey.
