Take a walk through the French Quarter's famous bars and restaurants and discover the famous "spirits" of New Orleans. It's history...with a twist! Take this tour on your first day in town to find out the places you must visit!
From the Sazerac and Pimm's Cup to the Hurricane and Hand Grenade, you'll enjoy a view of New Orleans' history and culture through our legendary bars and restaurants, and the characters that frequented them.
We'll entertain you with classic stories of famous New Orleans establishments and facts about the unique cocktails made famous here.
This entertaining walking tour visits historical restaurants such as Antoine's, Arnaud's, Brennan's, and the Court of Two Sisters, and the oldest bars in the city including Napoleon House and Tujague's, whose stories date back to the 1800's.
Go behind the scenes at the oldest restaurant in the city to visit the wine cellar and the private dining rooms.
This award-winning tour is inspired by the photographic essay book by Kerri McCaffety, "Obituary Cocktail".
You must be 21 years of age or older to take this tour.

All daytime tours begin and end at the Gray Line "Lighthouse" ticket office at Toulouse St. and the Mississippi River (at the Steamboat Natchez Dock), just one block from Jackson Square in the French Quarter.
Evening tours depart from the Gray Line Information Desk located on the ground floor of the Jax Brewery, inside the Toulouse Street entrance.
Please arrive at the departure location at least 15 minutes prior to the tour departure time.
