This is a special offer combing Paris Historic and Montmartre and the Louvre. The tours can be taken on the same day or separately, any unused portion is not refundable.

Paris Historic:
Paris was created some 2000 years ago and began at the City Island (Ile de la Cité.) This tour captures the "Soul of Paris." With emphasis on the history and art of the Capital this tour includes:

A drive through the oldest part of the city: the Marais District and its "hotels" (private townhouses of the nobility 3 or 4 centuries ago)
The Latin Quarter with the Sorbonne
The Luxembourg Gardens
Saint-Germain des Prés with its old church and its famous cafés
A guided visit to the interior of Notre Dame Cathedral**
A short cruise to approach and leave the Cité Island (unless the river is too high)

Before returning to rue des Pyramides, you will admire the geometric design of Vendome Square and the fantasy of the old Opera near the department stores.

MONTMARTRE AND THE LOUVRE
A village is to be found on top of the hill of Montmartre crowned by the white Sacred Heart Basilica so familiar to Parisians. Towards the end of the 19th century, numerous artists (Van Gogh, Renoir, Picasso...) settled here with their families to enjoy the simple and peaceful country life. The Louvre Museum is one of the richest in the world. It is impossible to visit it all in a short time, but a guided visit will show you the highlights. With Gray Line Paris you will also be able to skip the line. The excursion includes: Ride up to Montmartre by coach and funicular, guided walking tour of the village and Place du Tertre, visit on your own of the Sacred Heart basilica. At the Louvre, more than one hour guided visit, amongst the many works of art you will see the Venus of milo, the Winged Victory and Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.

Wednesday and Friday: it is possible to stay on at the Louvre for the late night opening. Mondays, the Louvre will be visited first before Montmartre.
