The Vatican:

Visit the Porta Pinciana, the Aurelian Walls, the Villa Borghese, the Piazza del Popolo and the Vatican Museums.

The Vatican Museums represents the largest art collection in Europe with over 65,000 masterpieces, including the Cadelabra Gallery with frescos and statues, the Tapestry gallery dating back to the XVI and XVII century, The Historical Maps, which are the work of Ignazio Danti, The Sistine Chapel built in the XV century by Pope Sixtus and adorned by Michealango, Botticelli, Perugino and Ghirlandaio.

The Bernini Staircase of the XVI century - St. Peter's Basillica is the largest Church all over the world, with millioins of golden mosaics and several Tombs of Popes. Here lies the most important Statue of Michelangelo, "The Pieta" a work made when he was only 25 years old.

Imperial Rome:

Visit the Capitol, the Roman Forums, the Colosseum and Michelangelo's Moses.

The Colosseum, Rome's greatest amphitheatre built by the Emperor Vespasian in 72 A.C. with easy access to 50,000 people.

The Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli was built in 459 a.d. to preserve the chains of Peter displayed under the main altar. The statue of Moses is a Michelangelo's masterpiece, made when he was 42 years old.
