A quick journey from the city of Luxor will deliver you to the doorstep of Karnak Temple. Built during the 16th Century BC it took approximately thirty pharaohs to complete the vast complex. Consisting of Four precints, Karnak is the largest known ancient religous site in the world. From Karnak temple you will be taken to the temple complex at Luxor. Older then Karnak, Luxor was the focus of annual religous events for ancient Egypt and was built largely by the pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramesses II Tour.
