Go behind the scenes at the Doge's Palace. Venture through locked doors, creep the corridors, and explore and enormous wealth, cross the famous Bridge of Sighs, and relive the horror of the Prison's Torture room. At the end of the tour clients are allowed to visit the main rooms of the Doge's Palace on their own otherwise after the secret trails, they can go at San Zaccaria, with it's beautiful church, through the popular Ruga Giuffa (a lively area, with local shops, osterie, Venetians bars) crossing Campo Santa Maria Formosa.
The airy "campo" was one of the busiest places in the life of the twon and one of the oldest religious and civil centres of the Serenissima. It was formerly the site of many theatrical performances, feasts and even bull fights. And then clients return to San Zaccaria, Oltrex ending point.
MEETING POINT: at 9.25am(DEPARTURE at 9.35am) at Oltrex office/Casanova tour (close to St. Mark's Square - over the small bridge just on the right sid of the main building of Hotel Danieli) 10 minutes before departure with voucher.
