Although well known for its extraordinary score -- the songs include Some Enchanted Evening, Younger Than Springtime, Bali Hai, There Is Nothin' Like A Dame, and A Wonderful Guy -- SOUTH PACIFIC is also a deeply felt drama. Its portrayal of Americans stationed in an alien culture in wartime is as relevant today as when it first thrilled audiences in 1949.

Considered by many the finest musical ever written, SOUTH PACIFIC ran for five years on Broadway to extraordinary acclaim and countless awards include nine Tonys and the Pulitzer Prize.

Now in its first Broadway revival, SOUTH PACIFIC features Broadway sensation Kelli O'Hara (The Light in the Piazza) and internationally acclaimed baritone Paulo Szot in the leading roles with direction by Bartlett Sher (The Light in the Piazza and Awake and Sing).
