Departing from Downtown Auckland your tour takes you along Queen Street, the "Golden Mile" of Aucklands business and shopping district. Many of the early buildings dating back to the 1880s still remain, threaded amongst the modern high rise buildings of today.
Drive past New Zealands largest University before traveling across Aucklands Harbour Bridge for expansive views of Waitemata Harbour, boat marinas and the city skyline. The city has 48 extinct Volcanic sites, many of which can be seen as we make our way through the domain, parks and garden areas. Visit Aucklands War Memorial Museum to view fascinating exhibits of the Natural, Maori and early European history of New Zealand before continuing your tour through residential areas gaining an insight into where how and why Aucklanders enjoy living in their city.
Following a break for lunch (own expense), join a popular cruise on the citys Waitemata Harbour. See famous landmarks including Rangitoto Island, Devonport, Westhaven Marina and activities around the port.
The tour concludes with a visit to the Sky Tower - Aucklands latest landmark with incredible views of the city and the east and west coasts. Your visit includes audio visual displays detailing the history of Auckland. Tour concludes at the Sky Tower.
