Seating
-Sit on the grass, guests are encouraged to bring along rugs and foldaway chairs. There are no reserved seats. Foldaway Chairs are permitted in designated areas.
Age Restrictions
Children under the age of 14 should be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18.
Admission is free to children under the age of 5 but they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
There are no reductions, or child tickets, for children & juveniles 5 years of age & over.
Disabled Access
-Disabled car parking is available.
-There is a viewing platform specifically for patrons in wheelchairs & their helpers.
Seating for others is on the grass in the park.
-There will be disabled toilet facilities.
-There is no discount for disabled people or their carers.
Travel
By Road:
Exit M4 at Junction 17. Follow signs 'A427 Chippenham' At next roundabout, follow "A4 Calne", through Chippenham. Approx. 3-4 miles out of Chippenham, take 'A342 Devizes' into Derryhill village. Bowood House will be clearly signposted
Bowood is approximately:
100 miles from London, 55 miles from Bath.
By Train:
Nearest rail station - Chippenham
By Bus:
Bus no 55 & 55A from Chippenham Railway Station - toward Swindon. Alight at Studley Crossroads - walk up Derryhill following signage - Bowood House is appox half a mile from Studley Crossroads.
General Terms and Conditions:-
• In case of inclement weather the concert will not be cancelled, however the concert programme may be amended in the interest of safety and enjoyment of the audience.
• Tickets cannot be replaced, exchanged nor money refunded.
• The event organiser / venue reserve the right to make alterations to the advertised arrangements or featured artistes and to refuse admission under reasonable circumstances.
• The event organiser / venue reserve the right to cancel or abandon any performance/event.
• Under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult (meaning a person over 18) and no more than 6 under 14’s are to be in the care of one adult.
• The concert arena is within a confined fenced area. No pass outs or re entry will be allowed.
• Admission is at the ticket holders own risk, except in respect of death or personal injury resulting from negligence on the part of the event organiser / venue.
• Tickets are sold subject to the event organiser / venue’s term and conditions which are available on request.
• No duplicate tickets will be issued to replace lost / stolen tickets.
• No refunds will be offered to customers who are refused entry or ejected from a venue on account of declining to be searched, abusive, threatening, drunken or other antisocial behaviour, carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances, or making unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings.
• Beware of counterfeit goods; buy merchandise from within the concert arena only.
• Entry will be refused to anyone who declines having their person or belongings searched.
• Disabled facilities:- Disabled car parking is available and there will be disabled toilet facilities.
A guide to what you can and can’t bring to Easternbreeze concerts
Easternbreeze Ltd. hold two kinds of concert, pop and picnic. What you can and cannot bring into the concert arena depends whether a concert has been designated as pop or picnic. Generally speaking the restrictions are stricter for pop concerts. If you try to bring in a prohibited item into the arena you will have the choice of returning it to your car or handing over to our security personnel, in which case it will be disposed of and cannot be returned.
UB40 is classified as a “pop” concert.
At pop concerts you cannot bring in:-
• Alcohol – Only alcohol purchased within the concert arena can be consumed.
• Glass
• Cans
• Non-plastic crockery, cutlery or containers, picnic boxes or cool boxes
• Plastic drinks containers larger than 1 litre
• Naked flames of any kind including fireworks, candles, flares and sparklers.
• Dogs (except for registered assistance dogs)
• Private marquees or gazebos of any kind
• Tables (including fold up tables)
• Flags, banners or poles
• Umbrellas of any kind
• Barbeques
• Professional audio, visual or photographic equipment (except with a press pass arranged in advance)
