Following a triumphant run in London’s West End, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s spectacular hit musical MARY POPPINS is coming to Edinbrugh in its first ever UK Tour.


Brilliantly adapted from the beloved stories of P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, this unforgettable production includes the best-loved songs from the film, including ‘Chim Chim Cher-ee’, ‘A Spoonful of Sugar’ and, of course, ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’.

This outstanding, award-winning show boasts some of the finest creative talent ever assembled, including Direction by Richard Eyre, co-Direction by Matthew Bourne, book by Julian Fellowes, Scenic and Costume Design by Bob Crowley, plus several new songs and lyrics from George Styles and Anthony Drewe.

Mary Poppins performances are recommended for a general audience. As an advisory to parents, Mary Poppins is recommended for ages 6 and up. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

Caroline Sheen will star as ‘Mary Poppins’ and Daniel Crossley as ‘Bert’.

Caroline Sheen has appeared as the lead role in many West End musicals. These include Truly Scrumptious in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’, Sandy in ‘Grease’, Eponine in ‘Les Misérables’ and Florinda in ‘Into the Woods’ at the Donmar Warehouse. She was also in the original casts of ‘The Witches of Eastwick’ and ‘Mamma Mia!’.

Daniel Crossley has appeared in the West End productions of ‘Chicago’, ‘Fosse’, ‘Anything Goes’ and ‘BoyBand’. His other credits include several seasons at the Open Air Theatre in Regent’s Park appearing in ‘Romeo and Juliet’, ‘As You Like It’ and ‘Oh, What A Lovely War’.
