Join us on a dark night for a mysterious trip. From the onset of autumn darkness until the lighter nights of spring, we’ll have the opportunity to witness one of nature’s most spectacular displays, a phenomenon called “The Northern Lights.” Far from the glow of the city lights, we’ll go hunting for the elusive Northern Lights – also known as the Aurora Borealis. Together, we’ll search for these magnificent auroras.On a clear night, we might be lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights swirling in a wild and carefree dance across the heavens in dramatic shapes, colors, patterns and sizes. The Northern Lights are visible from September through April but can only be seen on a clear night. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel this tour if the evening sky is heavily clouded or weather conditions are not favorable. Before beginning this tour we always check the weather forecast for southwestern Iceland. From experience, we determine where each journey will lead us to find the best possible views of the Northern Lights.
Notes: Please bring warm clothing.

Hotel Pick-Up
Complimentary hotel pickup is available however not guaranteed. You may be asked to make your way to a centrally located starting point. Full instructions will appear on your voucher.

Our fleet at Iceland Excursions – Gray Line Iceland includes coaches of all types and sizes and which all are equipped with safety belts. Baby chairs can be provided up on request, free of charge. Safety and comfort for our customers is our main goal

Passengers with special needs
If you have any special needs or requests you should notify the Iceland Excursions sales department as soon as possible. We always try to fulfill our customers wishes at all times.
Wheelchairs
It is permitted to have foldable wheelchairs in our coaches without charge. Passengers that are unable to sit in a standard coach seat must advise the company´s office prior to tour departure.
