Program:
We begin an enchanting evening at a theatre to watch the famous traditional water puppet show that depicts the past and mainly rural lifestyles of the Vietnamese since the Ly Dynasty a thousand years back. Continue our evening with a North Vietnamese dinner at one of the many fine restaurants in Hanoi in he fashionable Hoan Kiem Lake district. After dinner, we board a traditional cyclo (tricycle) to ride through the various narrow streets of the old quarters where each street displays a different profession or goods, intermingle with Hanoian residents bargaining at the many shops and dining al fresco at the many eateries. We end the evening in an old little Café for a cup of Vietnamese coffee or tea and watch the local residents go about their nightly chores.
