This tour takes you about 40 miles north of Chiang Rai to the Chiang Dao Elephant Camp, situated in a picturesque setting on the banks of the Ping River. Here you can watch these amazing creatures taking their daily bath and demonstrating remarkable feats of strength and skill. You then join a 90-minute uphill elephant trek to a remote Lisu hill tribe village. The Lisu Hill Tribe people originated in Tibet and their villages are usually located in the mountains around 3280 feet and this thrilling ride takes you along the river and then past beautiful forest scenery of bamboo trees and hanging creepers. At the end of the ride, enjoy a traditional lunch, before boarding a bamboo raft for a relaxing hour-long adventure down the River Ping. Your day long adventure finishes with a visit to an Orchid Farm at Mae Sa where there is ample time to stroll around this scenic area.
