We follow the coastline from Copenhagen to Elsinore, passing through fashionable resorts and beautiful residential areas. Crossing the narrow strait between Elsinore and Helsingborg, you will get a great opportunity for a fantastic view of Hamlet's Castle - Kronborg - from the sea. The trip across the Sound takes approx. 20 minutes. When we arrive in Sweden, we drive through the city of Helsingborg, before continuing to Lund. Lund is a university city from the middle ages, founded in 1020 by the Danish King Canute the Great. The city was the religious, cultural and commercial centre of Scandinavia until the Reformation. We visit the Cathedral which has a magnificent 14th century astronomical clock and we end up at the famous University of Lund. Lunch en route - not included in the tour price.
After lunch we continue to Malmo. Malmo is the biggest city in Scania and the third largest in the whole of Sweden. Here we take a short sightseeing tour and there will be time for shopping. On our way back to Denmark we have to cross the Sound once again, but this time on the magnificent bridge from Malmo to Copenhagen.
