Explore the magic and handicrafts available at the mysterious outdoors market in Chichicastenango. The Church of Santo Tomas, on the main plaza, was built on top of a Maya temple. These grounds are still used to perform Maya ceremonies (inside the Church).

Have an early lunch (not included) and depart at 1 pm towards Panajachel in Lake Atitlan (or hold your hunger until arriving at Panajachel). Once there, enjoy the wonderful sights of the lake surrounded by 3 majestic volcanoes and 12 Maya villages.

Through out the day you will enjoy the living heritage, culture and the unique landscape of the highlands.
