Mozart Requiem

Soloists, Choir and Orchestra of the Salburger Konzertgesellschaft perform Mozart's Requiem conducted by Konstantin Hiller in Vienna.

Fans of Mozarts spiritual music will be thrilled by this performance of Mozart's requiem. Mozart's last opus in an amazing concert in one of the most beautiful Baroque domes north of the Alps. This masterpiece of classical music is characterized by it's different emotional phases of uprising, fear, hope and salvation. Emotions that Mozart lived through during the weeks of writing the music that would be his last.

The choir and the orchestra of the Salzburger Konzertgesellschaft are two ensembles consisting of musicans with strong ties to Salzburg, the city of Mozart, and the Konzertgesellschaft. The members of the choir are all trained singers, who for the most part graduated from the highly renowned Mozarteum in Salzburg.
