Travel out of Perth through the historic town of
Guildford to the
Swan Valley, Western Australia’s first wine growing region. Further on we stop for some wine tasting at
Sandalford Wines. Founded in 1840, today they offer an extensive cellar and wine emporium gift store featuring wine accessories and works by local artists. We then visit the Swan Valley outlet of the
Margaret River Chocolate Factory. Sample their delicious chocolate or perhaps indulge yourself and enjoy a cup of their famous hot chocolate and a decadent truffle (own expense). Select a souvenir from their wide range of delicacies.
Afterwards, feed kangaroos and touch an adorable koala at
Caversham Wildlife Park. Next we stop at
Charlies Estate Wine & Nougat Boutique and enjoy an extensive wine tasting including cheese and biscuits. Whilst here you can sample the exciting varied flavours of nougat or just browse through their merchandise and gift shop. Return to Perth via the
Burswood Resort & Casino with arrival at approximately 6.00 pm.
Note: Those who choose to conclude their tour at the Burswood Resort & Casino will have to return to Perth via public transport (own expense).
