Travel
By Tube:
The nearest Underground station is St Paul's on the Central Line (within Zone 1) which is a five minute walk from the Cathedral. Mansion House, Cannon Street and Blackfriars stations on the District and Circle Line are a slightly longer walk. Central Line trains run every 4 minutes during weekdays and every 6 minutes at weekends.
Please note that all these stations cannot be accessed by people using wheelchairs. Please contact Transport for London for information about the closest station to the Cathedral for wheelchair users.
By Bus:
Directly outside the Cathedral you can catch the following buses::
No. 4 Waterloo to Archway - every 20 minutes
No. 11 Liverpool St to Fulham Broadway - every 10 minutes
No. 15 East Ham to Paddington - every 8-10 minutes
No. 23 Liverpool St to Ladbrook Grove - every 15-20 minutes
No. 26 Waterloo to Hackney Wick - every 8-10 minutes
No. 100 Elephant & Castle to Shadwell - every 15 minutes
From Newgate Street you can catch the following buses:
No. 242 Tottenham Court Road to Homerton Hospital - every 10 minutes
No. 25 Oxford Circus to Ilford - every 7-15 minutes

The Cathedral is open to sightseers from Monday to Saturday as follows:

08.30 - 16.00 (last admission)
Please note: Special services or events may close all or part of the Cathedral at short notice - please check before your visit.
Filming and photography inside the Cathedral is strictly prohibited.
Access
Wheelchairs:
Access to the Cathedral for wheelchair users and visitors with mobility issues is via the North side of the Cathedral. For details please ring 020 7236 4128 (recorded information line) or 020 7246 8350 (Mon-Fri, 9-5pm). A small number of wheelchairs are available for free loan to visitors.
Permanent ramps for wheelchair users in the Crypt allow access to the whole area. On the Cathedral Floor, the only inaccessible area is the American Chapel behind the High Altar.
Visually Impaired:
A recorded tour or a guided tour with touch facilities is available. Please book in advance through the Visits department on 020 7246 8357. We can also provide large print or braille copies of Order of Services.
Assistance dogs are welcome in the Cathedral at all times.
Hearing Impaired:
An induction loop is installed underneath the dome area for services. Hearing aid users should adjust their aid to the T position.
Disabled Parking:
All enquiries should be made in advance to the Chapter House on 020 7246 8350.
Special Facilities:
Toilets for the disabled are in the Crypt opposite the Cathedral shop.
