WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF ILLUSION
In 1882, Arthur Meyer, a journalist and the founder of the daily newspaper Le Gaulois conceived the idea of three dimensional representations of the celebrities making up the front page news.
Photographs were only rarely printed in the press at that time.
He created the Grevin Museum with the help of the artist and sculptor Alfred Grvin.
To perpetuate this traditional link with the media, since 2001, the Academie Grvin, presided by Bernard Pivota, elects those who are foremost in the public eye for admittance to the Grvin.
The Hall of Mirrors

The hall of Mirrors was renovated for its centenary, in 2006.
This Sound and Light show has dazzled generations of spectators and is without equal anywhere in the world.
