Sun Buggy Fun Rentals is a one-stop, turn-key adventure firm that truly offers something for all ages. Whether you are a photo buff or adrenaline junkie, whether you want to ride through the desert on a 400 cc ATV, drive your own buggy, or ride with a guide, we have you covered. Some of our most popular adventures are just 18 miles from the Las Vegas Strip where you can go on the Mini Baja or the Nellis Mini Dune Adventure.
This adventure is at the Nellis Dunes and is very exhilarating but is set at a leisurely pace with most of the 90 minutes being in the sand dunes. You will stop at Look Out Dune and rattle snake cliffs and see the Las Vegas Strip clearly, as well as Lake Mead off in the distance. If you ask the guide he will take you to the Firestone Race of Champions course and guide you through a lap. You will traverse dry river beds in excess of 20 feet deep. If you have a nice camera, don't bring it. A disposable camera is a much better idea.
Adventure Information
- The Nellis Dune Adventure is available in 1, 2, and 4 seat buggies, or you can Ride with a Guide.
- Departure times: 7:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.
- Duration of adventure: 90 minute adventure, 4 hour total trip time from hotel to hotel.
- Beverages are included.

Upon purchase of this event, you will be presented with a voucher confirming your order. Please print this confirmation and present upon arrival to your adventure location. Please call in advance to confirm your hotel pick up location.
Rental Information
* Rates include all fees.
* Our buggies are similar to your car. They are equipped with a steering wheel, brake petal, & gas petal. We've provided the safest off-road vehicles available to rent on the dunes as they come equipped with roll cages, seat belts, and helmets for your safety. You as the renter take the responsibility to operate the vehicle responsibly.
* Our 4 seat buggy accommodates 2 adults in the front seats and 2 children up to 100 lbs. each in the rear seats, due to the short leg room area. Ride with a Guide is for customers who don't want to drive the buggy themselves, but want to go on the tour with a guide driving the buggy.
* Free shuttle service from your hotel is included for all of our adventures.
* The minimum passenger age is 4 years old. Drivers must be 16 years old with a valid driver's license. ATV drivers must be 18 years old.
* No Cancellations. If you cannot come for your ride and let us know more than 24 hours in advance, we can reschedule your reservation, or you can be issued a gift certificate good for one year. If you notify us in less than 24 hours, there is no rescheduling or refunds.
* $300.00 deposit required at time of tour.
